SepSol Partner, Sturtevant Inc., successfully completed a milling application for lithium carbonate company in Argentina using their FCM Classifier Mill.
Lithium carbonate is a product used in a variety of of applications from pharmaceutical treatment of bi-polar disorder to uses in the ceramic industry for glazes. Recently the growth of lithium carbonate is in the production of electric car batteries. According to the report by Sturtevant, analysts predict that by 2050 81% of 132 million new auto sales will be electric. With demand rising for electric cars, manufacturers are under pressure to provide high quality grade lithium carbonate – something that will be extremely profitable for producers.
